Eagles ready for B'Faso, says Yusuf

Nigeria assistant coach, Salisu Yusuf, has stated that the team have responded well in their pre-match plan ahead of their 2016 Chan qualifier against Burkina Faso on
Saturday.
Yusuf explained that the Super Eagles' players have reacted well to their training process for the game "tactically and technically."
The Super Eagles assistant coach is confident that "the players will deliver against Burkina Faso."
"The players have shown great improvement, tactically and technically, in all aspects of football. We believe and are hopeful that the players will deliver against Burkina Faso," said Yusuf.
The former Enyimba coach also emphasized the need to win big to stave off pressure for the second leg of the match.
He added that the Stallions of Burkina Faso will not be underrated.
Yusuf also believes that the exertions and improvement in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) have rubbed off on the players' self-belief.
"When you play at home first you need to win very well so that the second leg will be a mere formality. In modern football, there is no simple or easy game anymore. We are going to approach the game with all serious.
"The league has become very rich. You can see every weekend that we have an away win; teams losing at home 3-0, and that has made the players more determined and exhibit their ability as players. Now the improvement in the league gives the national teams more quality and more value," he said.
The match between Nigeria and Burkina Faso takes place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt.
